What years were you in the company program?
I participated in the JA entrepreneurship program in 2019 and 2021.
What have you been doing since high school?
I am currently a nursing student at Dalhousie University.
What value did you or are you getting from the company program?
The JA experience shaped who I am now and broadened my views on entrepreneurship. I gained employability and work readiness skills in addition to financial literacy. Along with the advisors that helped us along the process, I also got to meet a fantastic group of students who were in a JA group. The JA program also enabled me to give back to my community, as some proceeds from the company I was involved in were donated to the Adsum House for women.
What do you hope to accomplish in the next few years?
In the next few years, I hope to graduate from Dalhousie and work as a registered nurse, contributing to the health and wellness of my community.
