Engaging Learning Opportunities for Youth Grades 3 to 12
Our programs are offered at no cost and complements school curriculum, integrating hands-on elements and interactive
activities to support learning outcomes. We provide youth of all ages opportunities to develop financial
health, entrepreneurship, and work readiness skills.
How Our Programs Work
JA uses blended learning models to make delivery flexible and effective:
In-Class Guest Facilitation
Teachers are provided all program material required. Some programs have the option for a guest facilitated 1-hour module. Teachers have the option for this volunteer guest to be in the classroom or virtual. The format for including a guest facilitator will be based on location and availability.
Flexible Scheduling
Programs can be delivered during class, assigned as homework, or spread across other sessions to accommodate any teaching plan.
Digital Campus
Online access to a wide range of programs designed to support learning outcomes.
JA DAY EVENTS
JA Day events are designed to provide Nova Scotia schools an opportunity to share financial health and work readiness education to students in a single half-day event. These 4-hour workshop style events, utilising guest facilitators, allow for the completion of one of our programs across multiple classes.
