JA Program

Program Description

Start and operate a business, under the guidance of experienced mentors or your teacher. This is your opportunity to design, manufacture, market, and sell a product before liquidating the company.

Program Overview

Students completing this Program will be prepared to:

  • Solve real business challenges
  • Gather data, evaluate choices and create a business plan
  • Launch a business and raise capital for start-up
  • Develop and market a product or service
  • Work in a team environment
  • Maintain and analyze financial records
  • Set sales goals and make effective sales pitches
